"Like many other horse people, we’ve been using poultice after hard workouts and competition. However, after trying Back on Track leg wraps and ’sore no more’ liniment, our years of using poultice are over.

The reason we switched is we’ve seen a dramatic improvement with these great products. The horses’ legs are tighter and cooler.

Also, when using Back on Track and ’sore no more’ liniment, horses with white legs or sensitive skin don’t develop scurf or inflammation as they sometimes did with poultice. Plus, my grooms love it. It’s cleaner, easier and saves valuable time.

With the blankets, I notice quite a difference in how the horses move after they wear them. The horses feel looser and more relaxed in their bodies, which result in less warm-up time for me. For horses that tend to get sore backs and shoulders, the blanket helps a lot. In some cases we also use ’sore no more’ I can feel the improvement under the saddle and my groom’s note that the horses are less sensitive during the grooming process. I wholeheartedly recommend these products to everyone who has horses."

"This therapeutic saddle pad works great! From the very start of my ride, I feel that my horses’ back is very relaxed and more supple with the Back on Track saddle pad. I have also noticed that we are able to go longer in between veterinarian treatments on horses with some known back problems. The horses comfort and soundness is number one for me, that is why Back on Track is the way for my horses and myself. It works!"

My horses seem more relaxed and happy within themselves since using the rugs and leg wraps. I find them especially useful for horses that travel a lot, as they provide the same degree of comfort they are accustomed to when wearing them at home in addition to their usual rugs.
On a personal level, I find that the T-shirt helps a lot in relaxing my muscles. Wearing it overnight improves my sleep, and it definitely helps free me up in the mornings.
Anyone who is serious about the well- being of their horses, and themselves, should certainly use Back on Track in addition to their existing garments and pain relieving practices.

Show jumping is such a demanding sport for our horses, so we do everything we can to keep them in top form. The product line from Back on Track is such a valuable asset to me. The sheets and blankets offer a consistent therapeutic effect for horses with sore backs or shoulders, and even as a great preventative tool for those horses that don't have any back problems. The no bow leg wraps have made horse management at shows infinitely easier, as we have been able to stop using poultice altogether. For myself the back brace has proven to be very beneficial - long days at horse shows, jumping big jumps, and training all day can take a toll, but I no longer wake up with a sore back in the morning.

As a Professional Rodeo Pick Up Man for the past 25 years,I take my job of protecting the cowboys and livestock seriously. You never know what is going to happen - a cowboy may need to make a 'leap' onto my horse to safety, and might catch me around the neck. I might have to lean way down for a bronc rein going 35 mph around the arena. Your horse might slip or stumble, or maybe you have to change direction in a hurry. It all takes a toll on your body. Usually after a long rodeo, like the Calgary Stampede, or the National Finals Rodeo, I'll have bruises up and down my arm where cowboys have grabbed on to get off their bucking horse. Even though I wear knee pads and chaps, I usually have bruises up and down my legs from the bucking horses running into you continually.

That's why I use Back On Track products for myself and for my horses. With the Back On Track Knee Braces I find some relief each night in the evenings, and wake up ready to go. In addition I wear the Long Sleeve Shirts, or the Short Sleeve T-Shirts and Long Underwear to keep my muscles from getting stiff and sore between my performances. It's not an easy profession, but if it was everyone would be doing it.

I love that Back On Track can keep me going!

The life of a rodeo pick up horse is strenuous on a horse’s body. The constant banging and crashing, sudden starts and stops, and intermediate high speed sprints will inevitably cause soreness during the rodeo season. While working at the Calgary Stampede for ten days, my horses will tend to become sore, just like the rodeo contestants. I used the Back on Track back pad on one of my horses who was sore in his back and withers prior to the rodeo, and within minutes he appeared completely relaxed and comfortable. We were able to groom him without him being in any discomfort.

In addition to being rodeo horses, I also use my horses in an everyday ranching capacity, which comes with its own dangers. In the spring of 2010, while grazing in the pasture, one of my best pick up horses was struck by a porcupine lodging quills in one of his back legs. After being attended to by the vet; with all the quills removed, the leg remained quite swollen, appearing nearly one and half times its size. With a poor prognosis from the vet with the possibility of the swelling never going down, I decided to try the Back on Track leg wrap. Using the leg wrap for two hours a day for five days, the swelling on the leg was reduced considerably, and my horse was able to put his full weight on his leg again. I was able to re-insert him into my rodeo schedule about 3 weeks later.

I am using the Back on Track t-shirt, back brace, and knee brace for my own ailments, and find that they help the soreness and stiffness considerably.

I recommend Back on Track products to anyone.
